Amazon Rainforest: The Amazon, located in South America, is the Earth’s largest tropical rainforest. Its river is home to caimans, pink dolphins, poison dart frogs, and more!
Baku: Welcome to Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan! This city is located on the shores of the Caspian Sea, where old buildings sit next to modern skyscrapers.
Chichen Itza: Chichen Itza in Yucatan, Mexico, was built by the Maya people 1,000 years ago. This pyramid is the Temple of Kukulkan. It has 365 steps- one for every day of the year!
Dead Sea: The Dead Sea in western Asia’s Jordan Rift Valley is too salty for fish to live in! Because salty water weighs more than fresh water, people can float on top of this sea quite easily.
Eiffel Tower: This tower in Paris, France, was built for the 1889 Exposition Universelle, a world’s fair. It is more than 1,000 feet tall, and visitors can take an elevator to the top!
Fez: Take time exploring the colorful “souks” – or markets- of Fez, Morocco, located in northern Africa. This is where people sell spices, rugs, jewelry, clothing, and more!
