PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT
Later that evening, Apollo asked, “Can we practice in the living room?”

“Tae kwon do?” Mom said.

“Yes. Practice makes perfect,” said Astrid.

Dad looked around the room and said, “Sure, but try not to break anything.”

“Yes, be careful,” Mom agreed.

Eliana pointed a finger at them. “Careful!” she repeated.

“Let’s move this out of the way,” said Dad.

He and Mom carried the coffee table away from the couch. The twins helped them push the couch against the wall.

Now there was a big, open space in the middle of the room.

“Yay!” said Eliana. She ran across the floor. Luna chased her. Mom picked up Eliana. Dad picked up Luna.

“Okay, tae kwon do champions,” Mom said.

“The room is all yours,” said Dad.

He and Mom walked to the kitchen with Eliana as she screamed, “Champ-pee-ons!”
